Private yoga session

At the Oak Studio

The journey begins with an introductory session, where we take the time to understand your body, your goals, and any areas that need extra care or attention. This first session helps us design a practice that's truly tailored to you.

From there, clients typically move into a package of 6 to 10 sessions, allowing your practice to develop with consistency and depth over time. Each session runs up to 60 minutes, giving enough space to move through a full, unhurried practice — breathwork, movement, and time to rest.

Hatha

Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). The word "hatha" is derived from the Sanskrit words "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), symbolizing the balance of opposing forces. Hatha yoga aims to create harmony and balance between the body and mind through the practice of physical postures and breath control.

Mandala

Mandala Yoga Flow is a dynamic and fun practice, you can expect to move 360 degrees around your mat as we slowly flow through the grounding asanas to the rhythm of the breath. The sequences are designed to focus on specific areas of the body, which relate to their corresponding chakra (energy centre) and the element.  The term "mandala" traditionally refers to a geometric pattern or symbol that represents the universe or the cosmos in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. It is often used as a tool for meditation and has spiritual significance.

 Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and flowing style of yoga that emphasizes the coordination of breath and movement. The word "vinyasa" is derived from the Sanskrit words "vi," meaning variation, and "nyasa," meaning within prescribed parameters. In Vinyasa yoga, practitioners move through a series of poses, seamlessly linked together with synchronized breath, creating a continuous and rhythmic flow.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced and contemplative style of yoga that involves holding passive postures for an extended period, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes or even longer. The primary focus of yin yoga is on targeting the deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles. This extended duration allows for a deep release and stretch in these tissues, promoting increased flexibility and joint mobility.
